AMSTI STAFF ONBOARDING
Welcome to the AMSTI Onboarding Headquarters for new (or returning) AMSTI Staff. Here you will find a collection of resources designed to help new staff gain access to much-needed resources and to provide AMSTI SDE staff with information to ensure that you have access to the correct resources for your job.
GENERAL CONTACT INFORMATION
New staff members should complete the following form to provide general contact information to the AMSTI SDE Team. This information will be incorporated into a private database accessible only by AMSTI SDE staff.
REQUEST AN AMSTI.ORG ACCOUNT
The AMSTI team uses Google's Workspace for Education extensively. All Directors, Assistant Directors, Materials Managers/Assistant Managers, PD Coordinators, and Specialists are required to obtain and monitor an AMSTI.org Google Workspace Account. Complete this form to request your account.
Professional Staff will need a Schoology account that will be utilized for future online courses and for sharing resources with teachers. To update your Schoology Account or request one, please use the form below.
POWERSCHOOL ACCOUNT (formerly Chalkable/STI-PD)
If you hold an Alabama Teaching or Administrative Certificate, you must have an account on PowerSchool (formerly Chalkable/STI-PD) to track and submit your CEUs/PLUs. If you are joining AMSTI from a Local Education Agency (LEA) or school district, you should already have an account. Your LEA will be changed to ALSDE since AMSTI is a section at the ALSDE. You will need to provide an updated (AMSTI-Site) email address on the form because most emails in PowerSchool are associated with your work email address. To update your PowerSchool Account, please complete the AMSTI PowerSchool Account Request or Update Form below.
If you are not an educator but need access to PowerSchool to create sessions (such as a PD Manager), OR if you need additional rights to your PowerSchool account to create sessions/award credit, please complete the AMSTI PowerSchool Account Request or Update Form below.
